Sugar in beverages will raise your insulin levels and make you crave junk food. Avoid having snacks like peanuts or chips with your drink. What you eat while drinking can sometimes have much more harmful effects on your weight than your drink.

Make sure you take a lot of exercise! This way you can enjoy a drink once in a while and not be afraid of gaining weight.
